St Mary's Bulletin

Term 4 - Week 3 (31st October, 2025)

Thank you

I’d like to extend my thanks to the Wilson family for answering the SOS call to move the Balance beams on the oval in such a timely manner, THANK YOU!

All Saints Mass

Sometimes I forget what great parenting, careful pre-school prep and some great teaching can do.

Anyone who was at the All Saints Mass yesterday would have seen an amazing display of confidence and reading ability from the Pre Primary children during Mass. Thank you Father Phillip for leading the Mass and well done Miss Downsborough and Mrs Cooper on your preparation of the children.

Sport

This week has seen a feast of Interschool sport organised by Mrs Crees. We had Red Ball Tennis on Wednesday and our Cricket Carnival today. Both days were enjoyed by all participants. Thank you so much to all parents who volunteered to help on both days.

Pre-Orders for New Skorts

Just a reminder that pre-orders for the new skorts with the bike shorts underneath need to be finalised by this Sunday the 2nd of November via Quickcliq. Please ensure you are selecting "Maroon skorts with inbulit bike shorts". If you are using your phone when ordering you may need to turn your phone sideways (landscape mode) to ensure you are seeing all the options.

P&F Meeting

Thank you to all the parents who attended our meeting on Tuesday night. As I keep saying, the success of the Fete underlines the amazing support we have here at St Mary’s from not only our parents but from the wider community. There are a lot of exciting things heading our students’ way, thank you to all for your continued good work.

Teacher Lunch

Everyone loves to be appreciated and the staff certainly felt that way on Thursday when our wonderful P&F provided the staff lunch to celebrate National Teacher’s Day. Thank you!

Thank you AFGRI

Special thanks to Matt Harrod and Afgri for the wonderful Shade structure that was used on the day of the Fete. It will certainly get lots of use on any school event days to come.

P&F Contributions

A big thank you to the P&F for donating $500 to the Science/Design and Technology Learning Area. Some of this money has been used to purchase new Electricity Kits, which the Year 5/6 class have been enjoying.

The tables below contain St Mary's NAPLAN data from 2025.
