Senator Marielle Smith ran a design a Christmas card competition for Primary Schools throughout her electorate for Senator Smith to send to her electors.
The lucky winner of this competition was Lewis from J6. Senator Smith came to the school on Wednesday 13th December, 2023 to present Lewis with his certificate.

Congratulations to Milly and Aarav - 2023 Award Winners
Milly won the Hartley Award for 2023. She was presented this award by Vincent Tarzia, MP at the graduation ceremony last Tuesday night.
Aarav was presented with the Above and Beyond Award for 2023.

It was with great sadness that the Dernancourt School Community farewelled Hilary Sweeney and her family at Assembly today. We thank Hilary and her family for the many years of service to the school. It just seems like yesterday that Molly started school but many years have passed and now we farewell Albert.
