Dear Drummoyne PS Community,
Presentation Day Assemblies
We are excited to invite families to our upcoming Presentation Day assemblies. These special occasions are a chance for teachers to celebrate and recognise the achievements of their students in a range of areas. Each class will present awards for Academic Achievement, Citizenship and Effort along with additional stage-based awards chosen by teachers and specialist staff. The Stage 3 assembly will also include the presentation of several major Year 6 awards
Kindergarten to Year 2: Monday 8 December @ 9:30am
Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4): Friday 12 December @ 9:30am
Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6): Friday 12 December @ 12:30pm
Parents of students receiving an award will be notified next week.
Thank You Morning Tea for Our VolunteersAll parent helpers and volunteers who have generously given their time throughout the year – supporting school events, taking on roles as part of the P&C, helping out in classrooms, or volunteering for Scripture and Ethics – are warmly invited to a special Thank You Morning Tea on Friday 28 November in the school hall. Our school simply wouldn’t run without your help, care and commitment and we’d like to say thank you for everything you do for our students and our community. We hope you can join us.
2026 Student Leaders – Prefects and House Captains
We are pleased to announce the results of our prefect and house captain speeches and elections, which were conducted a few weeks ago. It was inspiring to see so many of our students step up and put themselves forward for these roles, delivering mature and thoughtful speeches, and demonstrating a strong commitment to our school values.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the P&C Trivia Night tonight – it’s always great to see our parent community come together for some fun, games and a few laughs, all while supporting the school of course!
