A call out for small detergent, handwash, sanitiser bottles or similar for the art room please. If you have any of these empty bottles that you are happy to donate to the art room, we would much appreciate the donations.
ART SMOCKS
All students should have their own NAMED Art Smocks that is kept in their classroom and bought to art classes. The school does not provide smocks. We are continually making a mess in the Art room and don’t want your child’s uniform to be stained.
Please take a moment over the school holidays to check for any school library books that need to be returned to school. There is a large number of books overdue.
Also if you find any take home readers please return to your class.
A reminder please send a gold coin on Friday 14th July for a Hot Choc!
Thanks MPS for helping us gather all these items to help refugees arriving in Australia!

Stepping off the bus a cold thick breeze blew past, making 80 Grade 6s shiver. Most believed no rain would fall until later in the day but as we were grouping up, we were deceived, and it began to trickle. People hurried for their rain jackets as the trickle became a downpour. Then we began to climb up the rocky wet pathway until we were coated in mist. People yanked beanies and gloves as the chill rushed through into their bodies.
We had just passed stump 4 out of 5. We began to emerge from the trees and could see the top beginning to form. As we started to reach the open muddy land several people struggled to stay upright as they slipped and received a humorous laugh. We struggled but didn’t realize how much more difficult it was as we reached the steep slates of rock. After trudging through the mud and rocks we finally reached the tippy top of Mt Timbertop.
