St Mary's Bulletin

We have had a wonderful start to the term. We will monitor the weather over the next week or so and if we need to extend the ability to wear summer uniform we’ll let you know via next weeks’ newsletter.

 

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Miss Georgia Ariti into the Year Three/Four Class and to the St Mary's Community. Miss Ariti has moved to Merredin from Perth and we wish her all the very best for her time in Merredin. 

Continued thanks to Malcom Robartson for his continued maintenance work around the school. Thank you Malcolm!

This years Project Compassion Fundraising efforts raised a total of $749.10!! An amazing effort and one that everyone should be very proud of. Thank you to everyone that bought in their Project Compassion money boxes and that contributed their gold coin donations. It really does go to show that every little bit does count!!  

St Mary’s will be acknowledging the service Australians have made to the safety and freedom of our country during times of war in our ANZAC Day service at 1.15pm on Wednesday the 24th of  April. A reminder that Thursday the 25th of April is a Public Holiday to mark ANZAC Day.

Another reminder that Friday the 26th of  April is a Pupil Free Day. The teachers will still be at school engaged in a day of Religious Education professional learning.

St Mary's School is part of the "Containers for Change" program. Please see the poster below for all the details. If you require a green bag to collect your cans, these are available from Mrs Riethmuller at the school.
