Acting Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratulations to our First Communicants

This past Sunday, June 4th we celebrated the First Communion of some of our Year 4 students. It was a lovely mass. I would like to thank Mr Kavanagh, Ms Vago, Mrs Sozzi and Mrs Howden for their preparation of the students. We had a small number of students from other classes who represented the school as our choir and the violin students also played during the mass. Thanks to Mr Travers and Sarah De Bono for their preparation of these students. Congratulations to the students who received the Eucharist for the first time. May the Lord bless you and may your relationship with Jesus continue to flourish.

Letter Box Drop

As part of our promotion of the school Mr. Brown arranged for some postcards to be created that advertise our school and inform the community of our 2024 enrolments. We were hoping to be able to deliver these postcards via a letterbox drop. If any families would be able to assist us with delivering some of these postcards in your street or local area, please contact the school office and Almoza or Natalie will be able to provide you with some postcards.

PRAYER FOR THE WEEK

PRAYER FOR OUR HOLY COMMUNION RECIPIENTS

Lord Jesus Christ,

Bless the children who have received Holy Communion for the first time.

May this day be the step toward a life-long love of the Eucharist.

Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to you for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow into full discipleship.

Thank you for their innocence and goodness.

May their hands, extended in anticipation of your body and blood, inspire all of us to cherish this sacred Sacrament.

Amen.
