TERM 2 WEEK 10 - 04 JULY 2025

Principal

As we approach the end of another busy term, I would like to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday break. This time is precious for relaxation and spending quality moments with family and friends.

Looking ahead to Week 1 of Term 3, students return on Tuesday July 22.  We will kick off the term with our Athletics field events for students in Years 2-6. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their athletic skills and sportsmanship. Additionally, we will be holding our rescheduled parent-teacher interviews during this week. It’s important for us to work together to support our children's learning, and I encourage you to take this opportunity to discuss their progress with their teachers. Please note that parents will have the same interview time that was originally booked for this week, and any changes can be made easily via School Bytes or by contacting the front office.

We are also thrilled to announce an author visit during this week, which will provide our students with the chance to engage with literature in a dynamic way. These experiences are invaluable in fostering a love for reading and writing. Thank you to Mrs Canham for organising this opportunity.

Next term we have our whole school musical scheduled for the first week of September. This event is a highlight of our school calendar, and I am proud to say that all students will be involved. Rehearsals are well underway, and I can already see the creativity and enthusiasm blossoming among our students. This musical is not just a performance; it’s an opportunity for our students to explore their creative and performing talents, and I can’t wait to see the final result!

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our school community. I will be on leave during week 1 and Sandra Brennan will be Relieving Principal. I look forward to returning in week 2.

Happy Holidays.
