I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our P&C and all the volunteers who contributed to the success of our Mother’s Day stall. It was a delightful event and it couldn’t have happened without your hard work and dedication.
At our school, we hold high expectations for student behaviour, and this term, we are focusing on being respectful and maintaining a clean environment. We encourage all students to take responsibility by picking up after themselves and putting their rubbish in the bin. We kindly ask parents to reinforce these expectations at home, fostering a culture of respect and responsibility.
As we celebrate a wonderful return to the school term, I am pleased to share that we have received an initial snapshot of our NAPLAN results this year. I am thrilled to report that both Year 3 and Year 5 students achieved strong results. This is a remarkable achievement for our school and a testament to the hard work of our dedicated teachers, who employ explicit teaching methods and evidence-informed practices.
A special thank you goes out to our parent community for your incredible support of the cake stall over the weekend. Whether you baked delicious treats or helped sell at the stall, your contributions were vital in raising funds that will directly benefit our students.
Next week marks National Road Safety Week, and I encourage all parents to engage in conversations with your children about safety when walking to and from school. It’s important that we all prioritise safety in our school vicinity. Please remember not to park or turn in the driveway and avoid allowing students to get out of the car on the road while stopped at the crossing. Your cooperation is crucial in keeping our students safe.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. Together, we can create a positive and safe environment for our children to learn and grow.
