We hope this message finds you well as we near the end of what has been a lively and productive term at the Hub.
The past few weeks have been full of activity. One highlight was our recent eye clinic, which was a great success—nearly 90 students and 20 adults had their vision tested, supporting the wellbeing of our community. A big thank you to Mobileyes Optometric Clinic for making this possible.
Our first father's day celebration at the hub involved 11 fathers and father figures attending with their children. It was lovely to see excited children bonding with their father's and creating amazing crafts using cardboards, coloured sheets and sticky tapes.
Meanwhile, playgroup has been a hive of excitement, with therapists visiting regularly and our little excursion to preschool is scheduled for 17th of September. The barista course is in full swing, with participants learning to craft the perfect cup every Wednesday.
If you’ve been feeling concerned about your child’s language development, we invite you to join our playgroup on 24th September for a special session with our speech therapist.
This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, receive professional advice, and even book a free one-on-one consultation.
Spots are limited, so please make sure to register with Seetha as soon as possible to secure your place.
Crystal has been busy preparing our volunteers to ensure they’re ready to serve up warm drinks for our upcoming Grandparents’ Day celebration.
Be sure to mark your calendars for Friday, October 31st—it’s shaping up to be a heartwarming day filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit.
As always, your feedback is incredibly important to us. It plays a key role in shaping our programs to better support you and your family.
