KC and K/1H have been busy exploring the fascinating Corroboree Frog through creative learning experiences this term. KC have been learning a special dance inspired by the movements of the Corroboree Frog, while K/1H have enjoyed reading and discussing a class book all about this unique Australian animal. To celebrate their learning, both classes created some amazing Corroboree Frog craft artworks, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.
Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to participate in our school communication survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help us continue to streamline the way we share information and connect with our school community.
Families also have another important opportunity to have their say through the NSW Public Schools Survey. This survey is completely anonymous and gives parents and carers the chance to provide feedback about what we are doing well and where we can continue to grow. Your voice matters, and your input helps us make Plattsburg Public School the best it can be.

This term, our teaching and learning focus continues to be on strengthening mathematics lessons across the school. Staff are working together to ensure lessons are explicit, engaging and targeted to student needs. We are focused on building students’ confidence, problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding through clear instruction and meaningful learning activities.
We are also excited to see students enjoying our new active playground initiative. At recess and lunch, students now have access to optional a staff-run activities that provide alternatives to traditional playground play. These activities are helping students stay active, build positive friendships, try new things and enjoy structured opportunities across the school.
Warm regardsShahn Radcliffe
