At LIS - Wellbeing Matters!

The Australian Student Wellbeing Framework supports schools to provide every student with the strongest foundation possible for them to reach their aspirations in learning and in life.

The vision of the Framework is that schools are learning communities that promote student wellbeing, safety and positive relationships so that students can reach their full potential.

The Framework is based on evidence that demonstrates the strong association between safety, wellbeing and learning.

Parent / Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended our parent/teacher interviews this week. These meetings are important discussions of the progress students have made and the next areas of focus in their learning journey. A reminder that Prep interviews will take place early next term. We ask that all student portfolios be returned early next term.

Wellbeing Matters!

Last Friday afternoon, students enjoyed participating in a range of activities as part of our focus on wellbeing. Through our Student Council, students had the opportunity to offer suggestions for the afternoon such as yoga, drawing and colouring, singing and dancing. Thanks to Mrs Amanda Amidy for leading the high school yoga and meditation sessions.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day and happy holiday! I look forward to seeing you next term.

Kind regards,

Ms Cathy Langusch
