Principal's Message - Kim Fraser

Tuesday the school was awash with orange and with many children in their cultural dress. This year’s Harmony Week activity was based around the Noongar word for daytime -  ‘Kedala”

‘We all live, learn, work and play under the same sun. We shine our own light, and our glow warms and supports others. Together we are even more bright and brilliant!’

This quote was the inspiration for each class to develop a collaborative artwork associated with the word Kedala. These amazing class artworks are shared for everyone to view on the staff room windows. We have to thank Mrs Key for organising this significant event and helping us share cultural diversity at CPS.

What an incredible CPS Swimming Carnival! It was brilliant seeing every student have a go regardless of their swimming ability, a proud moment. Thanks to the parents and teachers who took on the swimming challenge, even though the teachers were a bit outnumbered, and some swimming skills were a little suspect, accolades to everyone for joining in the fun event. Huge thank you to Mr Marshall for organising the carnival and to the staff and parents for their help on the day, great teamwork!

Amazing work of the P & C again with the tremendous success of the Easter Raffle!! Huge thank you to everyone who donated and of course to the volunteer team who made up all the goodie bags. I’m sure some families are going to be on a sugar buzz for the whole holidays. 👏

From all of us at CPS we thank you for supporting the school in so many generous ways and being part of the community. 🐇🐇

We wish you a wonderful Easter and school break!

Don’t forget the most important thing - take some time to cherish family time. 💜

With our school situated on an extremely busy road, it is imperative that we as a community continue to discuss and practice safety when navigating these potentially dangerous areas. Please ensure that you and your children are aware of the road safety rules when walking or riding to school here.
