Recycling Home Reader Wallets

In order to move towards more sustainable practices, we have decided to use the home reading wallets provided at the beginning of the year for future years. We ask that parents and carers please keep their child's home reading wallet and store it in a safe place for 2025. New home reading wallets will be purchased for Kindergarten students only. Thank you for supporting us to reduce plastic waste.

Year 6 Fun Day

During Week 8, all students had the opportuntiy to enjoy some fun activities as part of our Year 6 Fun Day. As a group, they planned, organised and delivered some unique and fun activities for the rest of the school.

Their teachers were very impressed with how well prepared they were, how much thought that they had put into their activities and the kindness and care they showed their peers when delivering the event. It highlighted  how ready they are to tackle the next phase of their life – high school. There are a few photos from the event below for you to enjoy.

On behalf of the teachers and students, a BIG THANK YOU to those families that made or donated items to help the students deliver a fun event on the day. We appreciate your time and/or your generosity.  It was a great success.

The students raised $ 932.40 and voted to purchase a new lecturn for the school hall as their gift to the school.  Thank you Year 6, this lecturn will be a valuable resource for many years to come.

Pre-loved uniform sales

Now that we are nearing the end of our first year in our new school uniform, we are seeking donations of pre-loved uniforms children have outgrown, to work towards goals for sustainability preventing quality items from becoming landfill, as well as allowing families to purchase pre-loved items at an affordable cost, particularly as cost-of-living expenses continue to rise.

Donated uniforms will be used to:

  • Provide spare uniforms for our students who fall in puddles and rip their uniforms and other such accidents
  • Help students wear our school uniform who may be struggling financially
  • Support 'Reuse' - our environment loves us to reuse uniforms

All donations can be bought to the school office.  We ask that all items are washed prior to donation and are in a condition that other people can wear.
