Our Weekly Values Program helps Primary students develop the personal and social skills required to become confident, resilient and respectful members of our school community.
Each week, students explore a different value and consider how they can demonstrate it through their actions, choices and interactions with others. These values support our SWPBS expectations of Being Respectful, Being a Learner and Being Safe.
Our Week 7 focus value was Safety.
Safety is all about being protected from danger, risk or injury. It concerns our physical, mental and emotional health and is important throughout everyday life. There are many different measures we can take to remain safe, like wearing our hats in the sun, looking before we cross the road, and much more.
Congratulations to our Week 7 Safety Award recipients:
P/1: Maxon
Year 1/2: Navaneeth
Year 3: Gay Sa Bar Moo
Years 4/5: Pitsanu
Year 6: Last week's Teamwork Award winner was Ace.
Congratulations also to our Milkshake Voucher winner, Charlotte R, who was recognised for consistently demonstrating our school values.
Thank you to our student leaders, Chevy and Dante, for confidently leading the Primary Assembly, and to our Assembly Tech Leader, Hugo, for helping everything run smoothly.
Well done to everyone recognised this week. Your positive attitudes, thoughtful choices and willingness to work with others help make Nhill College a wonderful place to learn and belong.
