Class News

Kindy

In Kindy this term we have been investigating seeds and plants.  We have read stories about what a seed needs to grow and have used magnifying glasses to look closely at seeds in foods that come in different shapes and sizes.

We have also used the magnifying glasses to look at the parts of a flower and spotted the seed buds inside.  The children experimented with paint and crayons to recreate what they could see.

We hope to grow some seeds in our Kindy garden this term.  We will follow simple steps to take care of them and watch closely as they grow.
