St Mary's Bulletin

Term 3 - Week 1 (25th July, 2025)

We trust all St Mary's families had a wonderful holiday break; welcome back to Term 3!

We give special thanks for the rain received over recent days.

Family Friday

Don't forget next Friday is our Family Friday date, all family members are welcome to attend the school and see inside the classrooms and what the children have been learning.

Religious Education Assessment

On Tuesday the 5th of August all students will be engaged in the Religious Education Assessment. The children have done this before and are adequately prepared for the assessment by their teachers.

Carpark

Changes to the Carpark procedure will be implemented in the next week or two. New changes will be highlighted in coming newsletters.

GEMS

I will be at the GEMS network days in Kalgoorlie next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Travelling by Car

All CEWA schools have been forced to engage new Insurers. The new companies have imposed stringent controls on many school activities across the board, one of these being; Travelling to events by car. I understand that some of these changes can be frustrating, particularly if the school is a country school like St Mary's. But coming into effect immediately is the restriction that: no student can travel to a school event, in a car, driven by another parent.

Have a great week and keep warm!

Mr Hamersley
