Principal's Message - Kim Fraser

We’ve had a smooth and positive start to the year! After a fun two weeks of swimming for Years 3-6, the students are now well into their new class routines and focused on their learning.

A big shout-out to our P&C and the amazing parent volunteers for organising the annual Welcome Back Family Picnic. It was wonderful to see so many families come together, enjoy the fun, and catch up with one another. The kids had an absolute blast!

We’ve also wrapped up our Parent Information Sessions, and we’ve received lots of great feedback. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey! If you’d still like to share your thoughts, feel free to fill out the feedback form here: Feedback Link.

Exciting News: Toilet Refurbishment! We’ve been granted funding for a refurbishment of the Junior and Middle Block toilets, with the Middle Block being the first to receive updates. Work will begin on Wednesday, February 26 and continue until March 25. The Junior Block will follow shortly after. During this time, this area will be cordoned off, and students will use the other block’s toilets.

Safe Driving Around the School A big thank you to families who continue to support safe driving practices around the school. Just a few friendly reminders:

  • Teachers’ Car Park: This is not for parent parking or for walking children through.
  • Kiss and Drop: Please only drive into the area at 3:10 p.m. when it opens for pickup.

Your child’s safety is our top priority, and together, we can keep them safe. To help this happen, please have a look at the fantastic CPS Carpark student advertisement video from a few years back to help clarify!

Thank you for supporting the request not to use the playgrounds near the classrooms after school. While we know this may not be convenient for everyone, your cooperation allows staff to continue working in a space that supports an effective workspace for teachers. It also allows for our external providers like TheirCare to operate with full duty of care for their children. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to creating a safe and supportive school environment for our children.
