Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term 4.  I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday period.  Yesterday was World Teachers Day.  Please find an opportunity to thank your child’s teacher before the end of the year for all their hard work.

Term 4 has a lot going on.  Among these are; S2S camps, musicals, transition, P-2 swimming, athletics, parent teacher interviews and Grade 6 graduation.  Please keep an eye on our calendar and touch base with classroom teachers if you need any further information.

Staffing

We are working hard to employ staff for 2024.  This work will continue for the next few weeks.  I am really happy to confirm that Nicole Salmon will be Acting Principal and Stacey Currie will be one of our Learning Specialists for next year.  Mansfield Primary School is in safe hands and I look forward to seeing continued improvement in our teaching and learning and communication with families.

More staffing news to follow over the coming weeks.

Assemblies

Families are welcome to join our Assemblies which occur fortnightly at 2:45pm on Fridays.  Our first assembly for this term is next Friday, October 13th.

Like always, please get in touch with us with any questions or concerns.  Call or email your classroom teacher, call the front office or email me tom.macmunn@education.vic.gov.au.

Have a great weekend.

Take Care,

Tom
