Welcome to our final newsletter for the term!
What a successful start to the year we have had. Having the Easter break mid term was a welcome recharge and has helped us all power on to the end of Term 1. We have held a number of very successful events since our last issue: The Colour Run, The Easter Hat Parade and our school Cross-Country Carnival. All have been excellent and engaging activities, enhancing the learning here at WPS.

P&C News
In week 9 we held our P&C AGM. We have a new team of enthusiastic volunteers, excited to lead our parent body this year. The new committee consists of:

Fundraising Coordinator: Zara Henderson

Colour Run
What a fantastic event for our school community! Thank you to our wonderful team of parents for organising and running the event and to you, the Woolooware Community, for support it. $17,000 was raised and this will contribute to projects for this year.
Team Kids
We are fortunate to have a wonderful Before and After School Care service operate on our site. We work closely with Team Kids to ensure the handover of care supports our students, but please remember that Team Kids operates as an independent organisation and is not part of the school. If you have specific feedback, you are encouraged to pass this onto the educators and the team at Woolooware Team Kids, but also share your feedback with the central office.

School Holidays
This Friday is the end of Term 1 for 2024 and I know that everyone is looking forward to the school holidays. The staff will return to school on Monday 29 April for a Staff Development Day. Students in K-6 will return for the start of Term 2 on Tuesday 30 April.
