Term 4 - Week 5 (14th November, 2025)

Remembrance Day

It was lovely to see some parents join us at our Remembrance Day Service on Tuesday. Special mention must be made to our student leaders who conducted the Service and thank you to Mrs Riethmuller for leading them. Again, the wonderful Mrs Discenza kindly made the wreath that we used for the morning: thank you!

Mrs Munns Assembly

From all reports I hear that Mrs Munns Music group put on a fantastic performance yesterday. Thank you the Vanessa and all the students for all their hard work this year and for a very entertaining assembly performance. We are very lucky to have such talented musicians amongst us!!

Leaders Speeches

Our Year Five students have been busily preparing their speeches in time for Monday. It is always a confronting experience for those who are new to public speaking and we know the students may be nervous but we remind them they have our 100% support for Monday.

Reading at Mass

Please come along and support the Year One class as they read at this Sunday's Mass at 10.30am.

Swimming Lessons

The Pre-Primary - Year Two students have had some great weather for the first week of swimming lessons. Next week looks like it will be another warm week. Thank you to all the parents for ensuring the children are prepared each day!!

Reconciliation

Please keep Tessa O'Neill, Halle Crees, Jessica Nguyen and Annabel Johnston as they prepare to celebrate their First Reconciliation

God Bless!!

Special Events

Remembrance Day Liturgy

On Tuesday we held our Remembrance Day Liturgy. Thank you to everyone that joined us. Our Special Events Ministry did a beautiful job of running the Liturgy, so thank you also to them for the amazing job that they did. Lest We Forget.

Year Six Excursion

On the 13th of November the Year Six class went to Merredin College for the Year Ten's Health Stalls. We departed St Mary's at 12.40pm and got to the College at 12.55pm. We got to test out vertical jump and test if we were skilled enough to handball a football into a hoop. There were also stalls teaching about mental health, healthy eating and sun safety. All of the year sixes from Merredin College and St Mary's left with handfuls of freebies like free hats, water bottles, food and lunchboxes.

After the health stalls we headed over to look at the Year Seven quad that some of our students will be going to next year. Once we had finished it was 1.45pm, so we had to briskly walk back to school so that we were not late for the assembly at 2.00pm. It was super fun and enjoyable day , but we were very relieved to come back to school.

By Andrew and Audrey.
