Principal’s Report

Welcome back to Term 2!

I hope all of our families enjoyed a restful break and had the opportunity to spend some quality time together. It has been wonderful to see our students return to school refreshed, settled and ready for what promises to be another exciting and productive term.

We are incredibly proud of all students who participated in our recent Cross Country events. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm, determination and school spirit on display. A special thank you to our Year 6 students who supported the Prep–Year 2 Cross Country. They demonstrated outstanding leadership, encouraging and guiding our younger students throughout the day. It was truly a joy to watch our junior students give things a go, have fun and show great resilience.

There has also been plenty of excitement around the arrival of our school photos last week. Thank you to MSP Photography for their professionalism and impressively quick turnaround. The whole school photo has also arrived and is now proudly displayed in our hallway under the Kindness Rainbow, be sure to stop by and take a look next time you’re in the school.

Looking ahead, we are very excited for Education Week, which is just around the corner. We are preparing for a fantastic week that will include our “world famous” Street School, open classrooms, school tours and our much-loved Grandparents Day. It’s always a highlight of the year and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate learning with our wider community. A detailed poster with more information will be shared with families next week.

We are looking forward to a busy and rewarding term ahead, filled with learning, connection and celebration. Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.
