SCHOOL UNIFORM

School uniform is worn for a variety of reasons, including:

·         developing a sense of pride and belonging in students

·         encouraging appropriate clothing for all school activities as it is  sun safe and  practical

·         alleviating peer pressure

·         improving safety and security, as students are easily recognisable in uniform both at school and on excursions.

Therefore, this is just a reminder to be making sure your children are in correct school uniform.

‘Bottoms’ must be plain BLACK and include a wide range of options: shorts, bike pants, skorts, track pants, trousers, leggings. Shorts and bike pants also need to be knee length.

If your child’s school jumper is now longer than their shorts, it’s time to get a new pair of shorts! With the warmer weather starting to creep in, please check that ‘summer’ options still fit.

On those days when it is still chilly, please ensure children wear only school jumpers or jackets. Black long sleeved T-shirts or skivvies can worn under school shirts for extra warmth.

SRC WHEELS DAY

Our SRC Wheels Day was a huge success. The senior SRC students from the 5/6 class set up the course first thing in the morning and students all enjoyed riding around it on their bikes and scooters.

BOOK WEEK PARADE

Our Book Week parade was another successful event. Not only did we have nearly every student dressed as a book character, we also had the playgroup children join us in their costumes. The staff all looked fantastic as well. The many parents and family members who came to watch all appreciated everyone’s efforts.
