As we enter Week 6 of Term 4, it’s hard to believe how quickly the year has flown by! We’re officially on the countdown to the end of the school year, and while there’s still much to look forward to, the finish line is in sight.
With assessments now completed, our teachers are busy at work finalising student reports, reflecting on the hard work and progress of each student throughout the year. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and we are so proud of all that our students have accomplished.
Term 4 has already been filled with wonderful events and memorable moments. Our Year 5/6 camp was certainly a highlight, giving our older students an experience of a lifetime—full of challenges, teamwork, and plenty of fun. Our transition-to-school programs have continued smoothly, with the Puffing Billies program and the LHS Solar Car Challenge offering exciting opportunities for students to learn, explore, and connect with the wider community.
We also enjoyed a beautiful celebration of Grandparents Day, where our school was filled with warm smiles and special moments shared between students and their families. The Questacon visit brought an amazing science show that left everyone buzzing with curiosity, and our students' Recycling Week projects have been truly inspiring, showcasing creativity, innovation, and a strong commitment to caring for our environment.
Please refer to the school calendar in this newsletter for the upcoming events across the remainder of Term 4. There is still plenty to look forward to as we move closer to the end of the year.
Best regards,
Vicki Gillmore
Principal
