Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation and a sacred event where a baptised person receives the Holy Spirit in a special way, deepening their faith and strengthening their commitment to living a  Christian life.

Thank you to Father Philip for leading the Mass and to Mrs McDonald for her guidance and for preparing and supporting the student during their preparation and on the day.

A special thanks to the parents for supporting their children on this important journey and for organising the special celebrations that followed the  Mass.

Winter Carnival

What a great day at the Winter Carnival! It was awesome to see the students having so much fun and showing such great sportsmanship.

A big shoutout to Mrs Crees for all the hard work she puts into making these events run so smoothly – we really appreciate it!

And thank you  to all the parents and family members who came along to cheer the students on and help out with the many jobs that needed doing. Days like this wouldn’t be possible without you!

Winter Carnival

Winter Carnival Success!

Today, students from Years 3 to 6 represented our school with pride and enthusiasm at the Winter Carnival against Merredin College. After a term of dedicated training during Friday Sport, students showcased their skills in football, netball, and soccer under clear skies and glorious sunshine.

The day was a true celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Our players shone both on and off the field, demonstrating the values we strive to uphold at school.

In netball, the competition was incredibly close, with all teams playing hard-fought matches throughout the day. It was such a tight contest that final placings came down to a three-way countback to determine the overall winners—highlighting just how evenly matched and competitive the games were.

Soccer was equally thrilling, with close contests across all matches. Players demonstrated outstanding teamwork, and it was fantastic to see the improvement in skills, confidence, and collaboration as the day progressed.

A special highlight for our footballers was the incredible opportunity to work with local talents Darcy Dixon, Zach, and Riley Sprigg from the West Perth Football Club. During the bye games, these players generously ran skills sessions and shared their expertise and encouragement with our students. The combined football game involving players from both schools, coaches, umpires, and the West Perth players was a memorable and exciting moment for all involved.
