Grade 2 S2S Hike to the Plain Creek Waterfall

On the 3rd of November all the Grade 2s went on their S2S hike. Here is what Lisa, Johnny, Willow, Curtis and Phoebe had to say about it…

‘On warm morning four girls named Asha, Hayley, Lisa and Charlie were excited.’ Phoebe

‘First we took all the things we needed out of our school bags and put those things into our School to Summit bags. Then we got sorted into our groups. I was with Mrs Richter and her group.’ Lisa

‘At 9:30am we got on the bus.’ Phoebe

‘When we were on the bus I sat next to Will.’ Curtis

‘Remi sat next to me and it was so fun!’ Willow

‘We drove to Carter’s Road.’ Phoebe

‘It was a long drive but we got there. At the start we saw a cool river. There were also cool plants and trees. We were excited to see the waterfall.’ Johnny

‘When we arrived, we stopped and had a fruit break and toilet break, then kept on walking. We stopped in between.’ Lisa

‘The wombats were Mrs.Richter’s group. We sang songs and said if you are hot say Waterfall.’ Phoebe

‘Two hours later we were at the waterfall.’ Johnny

‘It was so cool!’ Willow

‘When we arrived at the waterfall we had a BIG break.’ Lisa

‘The way back didn’t feel as far.’ Johnny

‘On the way back we saw a snake! But the snake left so we were all ok.’ Willow

‘We walked 7kms altogether. I was tired. On the way back I sat next to Nate. We sat at the front of the bus.’ Curtis

A big thank you to the teachers, parent helpers and bus drivers for making it happen! 😊
