Hurt-to-Help Fundraiser

Thank you to Tommy and Layla for organising the Hurt-to-Help free dress day today. We raised $200 for the Hurt-to-Help Charity, a fantastic effort for a very worthy cause.

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre Incursion

Today the Spare Puppets Puppets Theatre have visited the school to present their highly engaging theatre incursion "Level Up!" to the Kindy to Year Six students. Ready to play? Level Up! is an action-packed new puppet show about friendship, gaming and growing up.

Two children escape real-life worries by teaming up inside the latest video game ‘Z’, determined to conquer every level. As they battle through challenges together, they grow closer, until the game itself puts their friendship to the test.

A tribute to gaming’s greatest hits, Level Up! explores the pull between real and virtual worlds, and what it truly means to “win”.

Perfect for primary students exploring friendship, screen culture and growing up in a digital world.

The Year Two - Six students were then able to participate in a puppet making workshop, which they thoroughly enjoyed!!

Mary Help of Christians Mass

Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us this morning to celebrate the Mary Help of Christians Mass. Special thanks also to Father, Miss Ariti and the Year Two/Three class for leading us in the mass.

Week Five Assembly

Mrs Mac and the Year Sixes keep us all entertained today with tales of their school camp. It was wonderful to hear and see all the amazing activities and adventures they got up to. Thank you once again to the P&F for their contributions to the camp, and to Mrs Mac and Miss Ashwin for supporting the children.

National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) takes place on Wednesday, the 27th of May at 10.00am. Our Kindy to Year Six students will be participating in the event.

This years book, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller. Written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, and illustrated by Jake Minton. It is a heartwarming underdog story about an inspiring kangaroo rising above the nerves of a big soccer match in the outback.

Win Big. Give Back. Help Build Westonia’s Playground.

Westonia is a small town based in the heart of the wheatbelt, built on mining, young and old farming families and people from all walks of life. This little country town is full of community spirit. In recent years, we have seen a big growth in young children and babies in our shire. Whether they've grown up here or are new to our town, we want to do our best to support them. One way we can do that is by providing a safe area for them to come together with friends and family to play, grow and learn.

We’re holding this fundraiser to help raise funds and support our vision of a brand-new playground that will help our children thrive. For just $100 you could be in the chance to win a brand new 2026 Hilux SR as first prize and a brand new 2026 Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium as second prize.
