Student folios

I hope all parents and carers had the opportunity to look at the student portfolios that were sent home prior to the parent/teacher interviews. Students were asked to read through their work with their parents and share what they were proud of, how they think they have improved in their learning and what they could do even better at next term. We ask that these folios be returned early next term if they have not already been returned.

Holiday reading

Thank you to the parent helpers who have participated in class reading programs this term. Please encourage your child to maintain their reading over the holiday break. Primary students can access the online reading program 'Reading Eggs'. They can also do some Maths activities using the 'Mathletics' program. Please contact your child's teacher if you need your child's logon information.

Holidays

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday break and a Blessed Easter.

Kind regards,

Ms Langusch.

Work Ready Program

The 17 WRP Trainees of Batch 1 2025 have successfully completed their program on the 28th of March 2028. Last week Friday we did interviews with potential candidates for the Batch 2 WRP. After the interviews, 20 out of 40 candidates were selected for Batch 2 WRP which is scheduled to begin later in April. The onboarding process will be undertaken in the next three weeks before the program starts.

We have stopped the acceptance of new WRP applications since 1st of December 2024 and this is still in effect. Acceptance of new WRP applications will be advised through a general Toksave by mid-June 2025.

FODE

Our FODE students are continuing at their own pace with the assistance from the STM staff.

Have a safe Easter and enjoy your term 1 holidays.

Best regards,

Mr. David Wengip

Congratulations to our Work Ready graduates!
