Community Hub 10 Year Celebrations

This Friday 28 June the RPS Community Hub will be celebrating 10 Years since its establishment. The hub is an integral part of the school community and offers families many services and opportunities such as English language classes, first aid courses, learn to swim lessons and food boxes. If you have never been to the Community Hub, please pop in to meet Seetha our wonderful Hub Leader who has been here at RPS for six years.

This is the last newsletter of the term. I want to thank all members of the school community for your continued efforts in supporting student learning and growth at RPS. Your support for the teachers and all the work that they do with your children is greatly appreciated. The first half of the year has been extremely successful and busy with many activities and opportunities for our students.  Student reports will go home at the end of next week, and in early term 3 there will be the opportunity for parent teacher interviews if you wish to discuss your child's learning.

Have a wonderful winter break and I look forward to seeing you all in Term 3.

Warm regards,

Mr Yee

- Additional/change of medical circumstances

Lost Property

Our PBL expectations of being Safe, Respectful Learners support our students in taking responsibility for their own belongings at school including jumpers, hats, lunchboxes and drink bottles.

To support your child and the school in maintaining lost property to a minimum level we ask that parents or carers clearly label all items brought to school with your child's FULL NAME.

The most common items making their way to lost property include jumpers and hats, lunchboxes and drink bottles and personal treasures. Students have access to lost property during the school day to search for misplaced possessions. When possible, labelled items in lost property will be returned to students. Due to the limited space for lost property, unlabeled and unclaimed items are regularly disposed of.

Lost property is located at the front of the office.
