Reflection

Loving God, We place into your care all our students, staff, and leaders as they prepare to go on school camp. Watch over them on their journey and keep them safe in all they do.

Bless their time together with friendship, laughter and new experiences. Help them to grow in confidence, kindness and respect for one another and for Your creation.

Be with the teachers and leaders who guide and care for them; grant them patience, wisdom and strength.

May this time away be filled with joy and learning, and may everyone return home safely, refreshed and thankful for Your many blessings.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Dee's Message

It was great to see our Year 4-6 students trying out for the school swim team this morning at the Boroondara pool. There was great encouragement from the side lines as they all got their turn to swim the 50 metres, in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly. A big thanks to the parents that dropped them off and returned them to school. The school district swimming carnival is coming up on 26th February, and we are looking forward to a fun and energetic day of participation, teamwork and school spirit.

I thank our Parents and Friends Association for bringing us all together for a picnic on Friday night in the school grounds. It was a lovely opportunity for families to connect and we hope new friendships are being formed. It was especially wonderful to see our children, particularly our new members, becoming more familiar with their surroundings and with one another.

It is another big week in the school calendar, perhaps the most important for our Year 4–6 students as they head off to camp on Wednesday. They will be travelling to Creswick to enjoy a true “bush” experience. The students are understandably very excited and perhaps a little nervous as well.

We are fortunate to have a team of very experienced staff attending to ensure a smooth, safe, and happy camp. I thank them sincerely in advance for their time and commitment, especially as they leave their own families to attend: Mrs Smith, Mrs Lett, Mr Kittley, Mr Turnbull and Mrs Redmond.

The aim of this camp is to provide students with the opportunity to shape their individual experiences outside the regular school environment and to engage in activities that promote collaboration adventure and overall wellbeing.

The staff attending the camp will be Tara Smith, Nicole Lett, Dylan Turnbull, Ryan Kittelty and Lisa Redmond.

Log Cabin Camp offers a range of exciting activities, including canoeing, Leap of Faith, the Giant Swing, flying fox, orienteering and an evening bush walk. All activities are conducted by Log Cabin Camp staff and supervised by St Anne’s staff.

The bus will depart the school at approximately 9:30 am, and we will visit the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, where students will have lunch before heading to Log Cabin Camp. We expect to arrive at the camp at approximately 2:30 pm on Wednesday 11 February. Upon arrival, students will unpack and prepare for an afternoon activity. We have attached a copy of the packing list.

Students are reminded to bring a wide-brimmed hat, morning tea, and lunch in a small backpack for the first day, as well as a refillable drink bottle clearly labelled with their name. As we have children with severe nut allergies, please ensure that students do not bring any nuts or nut products.

School Fees 2026

School fees and direct debit

There are a couple of ways to pay school fees.

Fees can be paid in full upfront, or by direct debit, which is the most common option. Direct debit payments can be made weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

All school fees should be finalised by October, unless you are paying via direct debit.

If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss your options with Netitia at the office.

Please see attached letter. I have also provided a printable version of the Direct debit form as we are moving towards all school fee accounts being paid by direct debit.
