Class News

Year One/Two

What an awesome start to Year 1 and 2. We have been getting to know each other as we have the new Year 1's coming into the big school. The first two weeks has focused on learning more about each other and learning our classroom routines and expectations. We have been working on our Math, Literacy, HASS, RE and ART learning as well as remembering our specialist transitions. Just as important has been the learning about being a good friend, how to use kind words, especially when we need to solve a problem.  Being part of the Year 1/2  team has been our focus. Teams need every team mate to play a role to be successful and our classroom is the same, we all need to be on the field playing our role to make our classroom an awesome place to be for everyone.  Awesomeness is definitely on the way and we are continuing our journey throughout this term. Our class family sticks together, helps each other grow an learn, values each other, make mistakes and try again, makes memories and we remember we are a team.
