You may have noticed that Mr Baumann has been MIA (missing in action) recently...that's because he's been busy getting married and honeymooning with the love of his life! HUGE CONGRATS to Sean and Lauren! May your lives together as 'Mr & Mrs' be filled with much love and happiness! 💒💗

SCHOOL UNIFORM | It is an expectation that ALL STUDENTS K-6 wear full school uniform daily, including closed shoes. As you are aware, our school colours are navy blue and gold.We have seen an increasing number of students in non-uniform items and colours on a regular basis. PSSA hoodies can only be worn on Fridays.

Note: DRESS-UP DAYS

  • Shoulders to be fully-covered
  • NO midriff tops
  • NO open shoes

THANK YOU!

MANY THANKS to Tony from Well Spotted, home of the iconic 'INNER WESTIE' tee, for supporting our school and Year 6! Tony has been printing our Year 6 tees and hoodies over the last few years! He has kindly waived the costs of the screens, as well as editing of the original image to make it suitable for printing. Thanks so much, Tony, you're a star!

PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING! We're collecting plastic bottle lids for a special project. Please wash and dry instead of recycling. There is a collection box in the foyer, outside the office. Thanks so much for your help!

***COMPASS IS OUR MAIN FORM OF COMMUNICATING WITH YOU***In case of urgent/important communication, notifications via the Compass app on your phone will keep you informed***

To ensure you receive all communication via Compass, please have the app downloaded on your phone, with the notifications turned ON.

Although the school pushes out notifications via the app and email, there may be times when an important message may be missed as emails may sometimes not be checked regularly.

If there were to be an emergency, (hopefully not), information would be pushed out via Compass.

SPOTLIGHT ON...

K GIGLI!!!!!

Last week, Kindergarten embarked on a magical journey into the festival of lights, Diwali. We learned about the significance of this festival and how it is celebrated by families all over the world. To make the celebration extra special, our little artists got their hands dirty, as they molded clay into beautiful Diya lamps. The process of shaping the clay was not only a fun and sensory activity, but also an opportunity to enhance our fine motor skills. After creating the Diya lamps, it was time to unleash our creativity, as they painted and decorated their Diya with vibrant colours, sparkles and endless imagination.

We also had a very special visitor, Dr. Ros, who is Ted's mum and a dentist. Dr. Ros brought smiles to our faces as she entered our classroom to talk about everything related to teeth. She captured our attention by showing us pictures of a skull that had baby teeth and adult teeth. It was fascinating to see how our teeth change as we grow. Kindergarten learned why taking care of our teeth is so important. Dr. Ros explained how brushing and flossing can keep our teeth healthy and strong. A special highlight of Dr Ros’ visit was when she showed us why flossing our teeth helps us to get rid of the food and germs between our teeth. We are so thankful to Dr. Ros for taking the time to visit our classroom and educate us about dental health.

Last Tuesday, we met up with our Year 6 buddies and co-wrote design briefs and then created nature crafts. Look at our picture frames and cute creations!

As we near the end of our first year of school, we are grateful for the journey and the many wonderful friends we have made along the way!
