St Mary's Bulletin

Term 4 - Week 9 (11th December, 2025)

Merry Christmas from St Mary’s!

As we approach the festive season, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to making 2025 a wonderful year at St Mary’s.

  • To our incredible volunteers – your willingness to umpire games, help supervise students, make milo’s and cook BBQ’s, has been invaluable.
  • To our dedicated staff – thank you for your commitment, professionalism, and care throughout the year.
  • To all who offered support when needed and engaged with our school community – your involvement strengthens the spirit of St Mary’s and helps us provide the best for our students.

We are truly grateful for the partnership and generosity shown by our families and friends. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and a blessed New Year!

At the risk of forgetting someone (I apologise in advance if I do!) I would like to extend particular thanks to….

*Daina Sutherland:

For taking on the Book Club job over recent years. The ordering and delivery of this great service to the students has been a busy but valuable one.

*Uniform Shop

Thank you to Marcia Sayers & Tosha Munro who are finishing their time as Uniform Shop helpers and Emma Growden who will continue next year.

And we welcome Jess Avery and Tenielle McGregor for 2026.

*Canteen

Thank you once again to our amazing Canteen Creator. We make special mention of Hayley who manages to fit in our canteen once a week along with running Wild Poppy Café.

*Camp

Thank you to Kat White for volunteering to come on the Year 6 Camp earlier in the year.

*P&F/CSAC

We once again thank our dedicated and consistent P&F and CSAC parents for their hard work over the past year.

*Graduation:

Thank you to all who helped with the Graduation Dinner at the Rec Centre Wednesday. The food and atmosphere was lovely and the students had the time of their lives enjoying the excitement surrounding the evening. As previously mentioned, special thanks is extended to Mrs Mac for her immense work in preparing the children for their Graduation.

*Staff:

At St Mary’s, we are extremely fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate team of teachers and Education Assistants. Their commitment goes far beyond the classroom—they consistently do whatever is necessary to ensure our students are safe, cared for, and supported.

Our staff work tirelessly to keep learning engaging and meaningful. They provide just the right amount of encouragement to help students grow academically while also guiding them in building positive friendships with one another. Their care and love create an environment where every child feels valued and inspired to reach their potential.

We are proud of the incredible work they do every day and grateful for the difference they make in the lives of our students.

A very big thank you also to our bus and library monitors for all of your assistance this year.
