Dear Families
What a wonderful start to the final term of 2024 we have had. It is very hard to believe that we have eight full weeks left! It is a term full of events so be sure to keep your eye out for communications.
KEY INFORMATION AND UPDATES:
Christmas Concert Update
Please be advised we have had to change the Christmas Concert date. The new date is Tuesday 3rd December so make sure you adjust your diaries.
Fatima Playgroup
On Wednesday we launched our playgroup with some very adorable toddlers. Miss Kelly Garbett-Tarzare, one of our prep teachers and a qualified kindergarten teacher, led the sessions. Continue to spread the news to friends and the community as everyone is welcome! It occurs every Wednesday 9 -10.30am in the Hall.
Father John Paul
On the weekend, Father announced that he has been relocated to Bacchus Marsh. His final day with us is Tuesday 3rd December and we will look at ways to thank him for all his contributions to our community.
Padua academic challenge
Yesterday some Y6 students visited Padua to take part in the annual academic challenge across a range of curriculum areas including Science/technology, Maths, Arts and English. Well done to students for achieving a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in a range of tasks!
Icy-poles Monday
Every Monday in Term 4 we are selling icy-poles for $1. All monies raised go directly back into resourcing for the students and school.
2025 Prep Orientation Days
Next week, we start our orientations sessions with our 2025 Preps! We are so excited to welcome our future Fatima Stars to their first taste of school life.
Socktober
What a sock-tacular range of socks our students wore today to mark Socktober! All monies raised will go towards their mission in Mongolia to care for children. The children raised $149. Well done!!
Please know next week I am on leave and Mrs Gill Carr, our Deputy Principal, will lead the school during this time.
