Reflection

Lord, we pray that we may live in such a way that we value all that is good in our lives and never take anyone or anything for granted. Amen.

Greg's Message

What a spectacular school concert! In front of a large and very appreciative crowd, our students dominated proceedings. All class performances were brilliant - well done girls and boys! To our wonderful staff - thanks for your herculean efforts leading up the concert and on the night. You ensured that we all had an entertaining evening. The concert highlights some of the many excellent features of St Anne’s - namely talented, enthusiastic students; committed, caring staff and supportive families. Premiers Reading Challenge

What a busy few weeks we have had running into the end of term 3!  The Premier’s Reading Challenge concluded on Friday 8th September 2023 after many months of successful reading .  St Anne’s students read a total of 1,688 books throughout the duration of the challenge, which is a fantastic achievement.  All students are congratulated for the effort sustained during the challenge.  Whilst there was a great array of texts read, some of our most popular books across the whole school were from the Dog Man and Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

We are pleased to advise that 41 students completed the target set for them and will be receiving a certificate signed by the Victorian Premier.  These will be presented in Term 4 at assembly once the school receives them from the Premier’s office.  We hope all students continue with their enjoyment of reading for the remainder of the year and we will look to participate in the challenge again in 2024.  It will be our objective to improve upon the great advances made this year.

Faith and Social Justice

Our Year 3 students will be celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation  at St Anne’s Church on Tuesday 10 October at 7pm.
