FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2023, Be a Voice for Generations, encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and socialise.

For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, let’s choose to create a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.

Anxiety Coach

Anxiety Coach is a child development course that aims to support parents and caregivers to take a preventative role in the development of anxiety problems and support children to develop skills to reduce anxiety.

Anxiety Coach is what we call a ‘parent-led’ approach, meaning that you take on the role of the coach in your child’s life, and are able to guide them through difficult emotions when they arise. It is recommended for parents/carers with children aged 2-12 years. 3 x 2 hour sessions.

Winter Festival

A massive shout out to the team that is pulling this event together. From gaining sponsors to booking acts to making decor to the composing posters and organising the FB page. What an incredible effort.

Be sure to return your volunteer note with the times you can help out!

Audiri

At this point in time our teachers still can't post from their phones. We have been informed by the Audiri team that there will be an update in early June to fix this problem. We apologise for the lack of class communication due to this issue.

TPPS Athletics Carnival

We can''t wait for our school athletics carnival tomorrow. Students can come in their house colours, they do not need to wear their school uniform.

Music Show - Wednesday at 2:40

On Wednesday afternoon Janet will be doing an informal music presentation with our classes. If you have time please drop in and see what they have learnt so far this term.

Spaghetti Circus

Each fortnight, starting this Wednesday, we will welcome Spaghetti Circus in to work with our children as they develop their gymnastic skills. This program is free as the school applied for, and recieved, a Sporting Schools Grant to cover the cost!

Sport

We wish Alfie all the best as he heads off to compete in the Far North Coast Cross Country Carnival.

Denny and Liam have qualified to represent the Headlands District in Rugby Union. They head off to play other teams from across the north coast on Wednesday.

Our school soccer team heads to Main Arm on Thursay to play in the first round of the PSSA Soccer Knock Out.
