St Joseph's Day Mass

Thank you to everyone that came along to support the Year Four/Five's on Wednesday at the St Joseph's Day Mass. They did an amazing job leading the Mass. Thank you also to Miss Della Bosca and Father for helping prepare them.

Harmony Day

Today we celebrated Harmony Day, a day that encourages inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural background. The theme for Harmony Day 2025 is "Harmony - we all have a role to play".

To celebrate Harmony Day the children were welcomed to wear orange or clothes reflecting their cultural background and participated in Harmony Day activities in their classrooms.

Senior Centre Visit

Our Year Two/Three class were lucky enough to be our first class to visit the Senior Centre this year. They shared some Harmony Day activities with the seniors, including some word searches, acrostic poems and a joint coloring in mural. Once the mural is complete it will be displayed in the Year Two/Three classroom.

Year Six Camp

Our happy campers have returned home safe and well today, after a very busy action packed week. There will no doubt be lots of stories to tell in the coming days and weeks and we will get the opportunity to hear and see all about it at the Year 5/6 assembly in Week Ten. But for now here are a few photos of the Year Sixes enjoying themselves this week. Thank you to Mrs Mac, Kat White and James Kermode for giving up their time to accompany the children this week. Opportunities like this could not happen without your help!!

Sacrament Commitment Mass

Students receiving their Sacrament in 2025, along with their parents, attended a special Commitment Mass on the weekend. The Commitment Mass is where the students and their parents publicly express their commitment to the faith and the sacrament they will receive.

Please keep these students in your prayers as they prepare for their Sacrament.

Thank you to those that have already put their hands up to help out on the day. Your ongoing support means that days like this can run smoothly!!

Lost Property

An Apple Watch was found on the school grounds this week. If you believe the watch may belong to you please come to the front office and provide a description of the watch.

Why did the math book look sad? Because it had too many problems!

    God Bless

    Project Compassion 2025

Each year throughout the forty days of Lent, Caritas Australia's Project Compassion brings together thousands of Australian schools, parishes and supporters nationwide to Unite Against Poverty.

Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, was on March 5th and runs through to Holy Thursday, April 17th 2025.

Project Compassion 2025 calls on us to stand with Caritas Australia to Unite Against Poverty. The money raised by the school will help transform the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable people and help them to foster change from the ground up.

Your child/children have brought home a Project Compassion collection box which is due back at school by 7th April 2025.

Thank you for your support of Project Compassion 2025.
