BIRTHDAY ICE-BLOCKS | If you are bringing in ice-blocks to celebrate your child's birthday, please ensure they are FULLY FROZEN prior to the day. This will avoid disappointment when handed out. Additionally, please do not bring in ice-cream packs, as we have a number of students with allergies.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

RESPECTING AND THANKING OUR VOLUNTEERS - MESSAGE FROM THE P&C & SCHOOL
A great number of people, (probably in the hundreds at this point), have been working incredibly hard for the school and to get the P&C Art Show off the ground.
From artists, to the parents working with children's art, working bee volunteers, those working on stalls, logistics, website development, raffles...Too many to count.
These folk are in addition to the countless of others who work on the uniform stall, BBQs, volunteer in class reading times, ethics & religious instructors and Eaton Street committees.
These people have sacrificed an incredible amount of personal time for the school and all our children and deserve the utmost respect. While you may not necessarily agree with the P&C or school's decisions, please try to keep in mind that these people are devoting their time to help your children and deserve courtesy and respect at all times.
This is the 'Balmain Way'; it is what we expect of our children and similarly how we expect parents to behave towards those devoting their time towards the children of this school.Thank you for your cooperation and THANK YOU SO MUCH to the parent volunteers & BPS staff for everything you do.

SOME OF OUR STORIES ARE SAVED AS HIGHLIGHTS...
Exciting Highlights from our Week! | We’ve had another wonderful week in Kindergarten, filled with learning and fun! We wanted to share some of the exciting activities your children have been enjoying lately.
Creative Writing Adventures | Our young writers have been busy crafting their own sentences! We’ve been practising forming simple sentences using sight words, and the children are becoming more confident in expressing their thoughts on paper. It’s been amazing to see their creativity shine as they write about their favourite things, share stories, and verbally describe their adventures.
Kindy's special guest! | Last week, our Kindy students welcomed a special guest, Healthy Harold! Harold is a friendly character, who helps teach children about the importance of making healthy choices. Our students learned about balanced diets, the importance of exercise, and how to be a good friend. Harold’s visit was engaging and interactive, and it sparked lots of great conversations about health and wellness among the kids.
Design Briefs | Kindy students love Investigations! We have been hard at work creating design briefs for a variety of Investigative Learning stations. This process has allowed them to think about planning and designing their own imaginative projects. Whether it’s designing a new playground or creating a unique finger puppet, the children have been excited to put their ideas into action and see their plans come to life.
Kindergarten absolutely LOVED getting dressed up for the Book Character Parade!
We’re so proud of the progress our kindies are making and the enthusiasm they bring to each activity. Thank you for your continued support at home. Looking forward to another fantastic week ahead! The Kindy Crew.

Captain - Lane
The score was 7 to 1 and I think the team played their 100% in there attacking and there defending I think personally that the man of the match was Ethan because he tried to gain a lot of metres by kick the ball when it as about to go out by our team. I think we need to improve a lot of the defence because all of the defenders go up the field and act like there are strikers or midfielders and the wings go and act like they are strikers and they start to move into the other side of the field and I think the goalies:James and Saxon.
Junior B
Today we played Nicholson Street and we tried our best. But sadly we lost. The score was 11-1 and we need to work on our defence. Today the player of the match is Charlie N. He was really good in attacking.
Juliet K
A Grade
