From the Principal

The term is flying by and it's hard to believe that it's only 4 weeks until Christmas is upon us once again. Last week's excursion was fabulous and once again our students represented the school and community well, interacting respectfully with children and adults alike. A huge thank you to David Mitchell for accompanying us, to Carli for changing her  work day to attend and for Kim who held the fort back at school.

Transition is in full swing with our Kindy children are half way through their school visits and our year 6 students excited for their final full day transition visit. Those going to Kapunda High have uniform fittings on Monday afternoon and have their visit on Thursday next week.

Concert invitations are going home tonight and we are all getting excited for next Friday night. It's a hectic time of year but please add these important items to your to-do list.

1. Support our SRC by donating non-perishable foods to their "Can Drive".

2. Sell your Christmas Hamper raffle tickets (more books are available - just ask!) and return the money and stubbs by next Monday so we have time to collect and fold them all.

3. Return the Splash Day consent forms so we can confirm numbers.

4. Bring some gold coins along on Concert night as there will be two additional raffle prizes on the night.

I look forward to seeing you all at the concert next week and celebrating what has been a fantastic year of learning and growing together!

Warm regards, Ann-Marie

Premier's Reading Challenge

Congratulations to all the students for their participation in the 20th Anniversary of the Premiers Reading Challenge.

Students had to read 20 books this year, 8 from the Premiers Reading Challenge list and the rest free choice.

This year we had 100% of the students participate.

Premier's Be Active Challenge

The Premiers Be Active Challenge requires students to do at least 60 minutes of physical activity on at least 5 days of the week for at least 4 weeks between the beginning of the school year and late September.

Again we had 100% participation from all of our students.

Congratulations
