Special Events

Faction Swimming Carnival

This Wednesday saw our students in years 3-6 compete in our first major sporting event for the year, the Faction Swimming Carnival. Although the carnival was much later into the term than normal, it still felt like summer, giving us perfect temperature to be in the water!

It was a wonderful display of the swimming talents of our senior students who showed great determination, sportsmanship, and Faction Spirit. It was lovely to see all students taking part and having fun.

In what was one of the closest results in years with only 7 points separating all three Factions, the long reign of Salvatorian wins was finally broken by a triumphant St Joseph’s Team on 514 points. Mackillop took out 2nd place on 511 Points with Salvatorians only just behind in third place on 507 points.

Congratulations to the following year group winners.
