Farewell 2023!

Dear Peachester Community,

As we bid farewell to another incredible school year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the achievements and growth we have witnessed in our students. It has been a year marked by resilience, creativity, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Our students have shown exceptional dedication to their studies, and their accomplishments in academics, arts, and sports are a testament to their hard work and passion. Whether in the classroom, within our community or on the field, our students have consistently demonstrated the values that make Peachester a special place.

I want to extend my deepest appreciation to our outstanding staff. Your unwavering commitment to nurturing the potential within each student has played a pivotal role in their success. Your tireless efforts and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and I am grateful for the positive impact you have on our school community.

To our parents and carers, thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. Your support and collaboration are vital components of our shared mission to foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

As we look back on the year, let us also celebrate the friendships made, the lessons learned, and the memories created. Each student has contributed to the rich tapestry of our school community, leaving an indelible mark that will be cherished for years to come.

As we embark on the end-of-year break, I encourage everyone to take time for rest and rejuvenation. The experiences of this school year have undoubtedly shaped our students, and I am confident that they will carry these lessons with them as they continue to learn and grow.

Wishing you all a safe and joyful break. We look forward to welcoming our students back for another exciting school year filled with new opportunities and achievements.

With gratitude,

Kim Fillery

Year 1/2 News

What a fun finish to our year together.  Steve came along a few days ago and pulled out all the cactus growing outside our room.  Then Karen (Beth’s mum) busily collected money from us all and bought some native plants and a great bird bath to go in the garden outside our classroom.

Finally, we got to plant all the plants and fill the bird bath.  Some of the plants are bush tucker we can eat, and others are rare, endangered trees.

Lastly, we all baked gingerbread together for Christmas.  It was lots of fun and even Ewyn (Oliver’s brother) enjoyed helping too.

Merry Christmas everyone and see you all next year.
