Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of Term 2, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your continued support and engagement. It has been a wonderful term filled with rich learning experiences and noticeable student growth across all year levels.
Student Reports & Interviews
Student reports for Pre-Primary to Year 6 will be released via SEQTA on Monday afternoon. This will be followed by three-way interviews on Friday, providing a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their learning and progress from the semester.During interviews, the Library will be open for siblings to wait. Please note that, due to supervision requirements, the playground will not be accessible during this time.
Looking Ahead to Term 3
Term 3 promises to be another exciting term full of engaging learning opportunities. A calendar of current events is attached to this newsletter and will also be added to the Audiri app to help keep everyone informed and up to date.
New Language Program
We are thrilled to announce that Mrs Fiona Cailes has accepted the Languages teaching position for next semester. Mrs Cailes will be teaching AUSLAN to all students each Friday. We’re excited to welcome this new and enriching program to our curriculum.
School Advisory Committee Opportunity
We currently have one vacancy on the School Advisory Committee (SAC) for next semester. This role involves attending just one meeting per term and plays a vital part in shaping the present and future direction of our school. If you are interested in joining, please contact the office for more information.
Website & Online Services Update
Following feedback from our recent parent survey, we’ve identified the need to improve our school website. We’ve partnered with a new provider to redesign and modernise the site, with the goal of launching early next term. Additionally, we’re excited to introduce a new online ordering system for both the Canteen and Uniform Shop—more details will be shared soon.
Thank you once again for a fantastic term. I look forward to all that the second half of the year has in store!
Kind regards,
Michael Patrick
