Principal's Message - Kim Fraser

As we wrap up another eventful term, it's a perfect time to reflect on the achievements and growth of our students, as well as bid farewell to some cherished staff members. We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new families to the CPS community!

The highlight of this term has undoubtedly been the Edu-Dance concert and the CHUMT Show where our students showcased their musical and dancing prowess with incredible enthusiasm. We are so privileged to have Mr Howesmith as our music maestro who provides so many opportunities for our students to engage in all sorts of music fun! We were thrilled to see so many families join us for these joyous celebrations of talent and hard work.

However, amidst all the festivities, we must acknowledge the departure of two exceptional staff members who have been integral to our school's success.

Firstly, Mrs. Paula Thompson, whose retirement marks the end of a remarkable 27-year career in Public Education. Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Thompson has been a pillar of support, creating a safe and nurturing environment where students thrived. Her dedication to encouraging students to set personal goals and strive for excellence has left an indelible mark on our school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Thompson for her unwavering commitment and wish her the very best in her future adventures!

Secondly, we bid farewell to Mrs. Elisa Rigoli, who after 7 years at CPS, is moving to a new school to embark on an exciting journey in sharing her exceptional visual arts skills. Mrs. Rigoli's passion for fostering an outstanding learning environment, where all students actively engage and develop a growth mindset, has been truly inspiring. We commend her dedication and the positive impact she has had on our students' educational journeys. We wish you all the very best Mrs Rogoli!

As we look forward to a well-deserved break, we express our gratitude to our entire school community – students, staff, and parents – for your ongoing support and commitment. It is through our collective efforts that we continue to create a nurturing environment where every child can flourish.

Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another exciting term ahead.
