SPOTLIGHT ON...

5/6 ROYAL ANTELOPE!!!!

5/6R Crafting Easter Hats | Yesterday 5/6R’s classroom was bustling with excitement as creative Easter hats for the hat parade today were being crafted. We started to work on it right after Break B. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough hats made then, so our wonderful teachers had the best idea… making the magnificent hats and accessories that you saw today, in class! It wasn’t just the quality of the things that were created, but the experience that we shared. We were allowed to collaborate with our friends to come up with a plan and bring it to life. Believe it or not I saw some amazing teamwork. How did 5/6R make these? Well if that's what you’re thinking, then you’re in luck because that’s what I’m going to talk about now. We used sustainable materials for designing the hats. See, doing the smallest things can make a big difference and just like that we’re a step closer to saving our planet. But before we even started making the hats we did three extremely important things: plan, plan and plan. Yes that’s right, we started off with planning our work. We drew drafts in our project books then when we were done designing we showed these designs to Miss Reedy and the process started. Painting. Gluing. Having a terms worth of fun. And it wasn’t just me, it was everyone. I think I can speak for the whole of 5/6R and say that we loved it! By: Zerene, 5/6R

***COMPASS IS OUR MAIN FORM OF COMMUNICATING WITH YOU***In case of urgent/important communication, notifications via the Compass app on your phone will keep you informed***

To ensure you receive all communication via Compass, please have the app downloaded on your phone, with the notifications turned ON.

Although the school pushes out notifications via the app and email, there may be times when an important message may be missed as emails may sometimes not be checked regularly.

If there were to be an emergency, (hopefully not), information would be pushed out via Compass.

Payments online

All online payments are now made using COMPASS.
